When I worked deli we had boars head partnership and honestly the quality is just so so far and above anything else from the selection to different ingredients to pricing of the sandwiches, and picking fresh produce from the produce section every day, fresh baked bread every day. I could have outdone a jersey mikes any day of the week and it would take a month to get through different meats and cheese combinations.
But of course it's a fucking supermarket deli so they only hire the dumbest literal retards. I go there just 4 years later and they got different managers. Quality of everything is down, no one knows how to prep anything properly, the people put very little care into making a sub sandwich properly and neatly. There's no love. Jersey Mikes totally still delivers though, if they ever teamed up with boars head it would be unstoppable.
