Learning Japanese is great and all, but I just have to wonder how this creepy escapicism has dominated the incel mind. I'm not just talking about Americans. I saw a lot of Asians who hate their country so much and expect something wonderful waiting for them beyond the borders and oceans. They literally are writing their own isekais but worse than actual ones because they are about not only escapicism but also a twisted vision of actual part of the world. You don't need to know how a word is pronounced to know what it means or how it interacts with the rest of a sentence.
This is one of the biggest hurdles new JP/Chinese learners face is because they constantly feel the need to confirm they know the readings of shit, it takes them longer on average to break away into faster reading speeds so they get stuck reading slowly and inhibiting their gains for a longer time than if they'd learned any other language.

Kanji is easy, always start left to right, top to bottom, and you usually write the horizontal line first before the verticals. The exception is words like 避 or 匙 then you write the inside first then the outside.

I've been studying japanese for a year I don't think I'll ever understand the difference between は and が

sort of. I personally consider rtk useless since it doesn't teach meanings, words, or readings moonrunes. you only learn some weird keywords, weird names for radicals, and stroke orders through rote.
and it doesn't help with ateji like 沢山(たくさん), 多分(たぶん), 滅多(めった) 誤魔化す/胡麻化す(ごまかす), 矢張り(やはり), 寿司(すし), 滅茶苦茶(めちゃくちゃ) etc.

が answers to だれが
は often marks contrast (肉は好きだ (が、野菜は嫌いだ))
ドアを開けたのは田中さんです (the one who opened the door was tanaka) (not with が)
は for "as for" (私は買い物に行きます->(as for me,) I'll do the shopping (what about you?))
が to introduce new stuff, は to talk about something mentioned previously (昔々、姫がいました。姫は美しいでした -> there once was a princess. the princess was beautiful)
