The problem with this game is that they're too samey, even the unlocks are samey. Also, the combo system is a huge downgrade from Guardian Heroes. But GH tries to be a fighting game + RPG. Instead of a straight -up beat em up

This is the only game I've EVER played that despite being shallow 100% nails the tone and feeling of going on a medieval fantasy advanture. It seems such an easy thing to do - a story about a group of knights fighting for their king going on a magical adventure to the princesses from the evil sorcerer and his minions, with the journey taking you through a barbarian war field to the thieves' hideout to fighting forest trolls to fighting giant vampire bats to climbing a mountain during full moon to fighting lava enemies and ice enemies and skeletons in the marsh and so on - it's not exactly imaginative so how come no other game I've ever played succeeds at pulling this off?

It will always amaze me how Behemoth didn't do the most obvious that would have guaranteed them much more financial success that they could have used to fund all the other passion projects they clearly want to do. Castle Crashers 2 back then would have been a guaranteed monstrous success. Instead they opted to avoid the obvious decision. Now at this point I won't say it wouldn't sell it certainly would but they would be releasing a sequel so many years after the iron was white hot for them to do it.
