That stuff is still there though, you just have access to a different moveset. I hope they expand ninja mode since currently it's fine but samurai mode by comparison has had 3 games worth of improvements so ninja feels anemic. They definitely need to pump up the aggressiveness or numbers or flat out revamp movesets to make enemies more dangerous

Plenty of games and franchises are praised because they are regarded as "legendary" even when only very few people have played them. For example Sakura Taisen is the textbook example.
Devil May Cry is the same; it had prestige as one of those so-called legendary franchises because only a few people played them back during the PS2 / PS3 eras and games from that age are idealized and idolized.
