That I can actively remember? Probably Shadows of the Empire. It's very likely that I played Super Mario All-Stars before that though.

I got a physical copy of DKR earlier in the year. Now I'm just waiting for the Analogue 3D, which at this point is probably gonna come out in 2064.

smb, smb3, duck hunt, tetris, and smw were what my parents played and the first games they let me try
I consider megaman x my first real game though because playing it is my earliest memory. my mom would sit on the living room floor with me and help me read the dialogue when I was 3 or 4
damn I miss my mom, bros

Crash 1 and Lost World (for PS1). It felt so hype when I first got them as a kid in '97. They just seemed so advanced and cool to me. Nevermind for the moment that I couldn't beat them.

It was something like Rod Land or Bubble Bobble with my papa. Some console that used floppy disk. Treasure island Dizzy & Xenophobe, Rainbow Island. Pang! was my favorite though
After that I remember completing Donkey Kong 1 through 3 & 100%'ing to beat King K. Rool (Pirate version) + Volcano. No idea how i managed to figure it out without a guide as a stupid little kid
