Well that's it, I guess every single year, FIFA is GOTY in my country. Can't argue against that.

If they lowered the base deck to like $150, I'd buy it. Just saying

The LCD deck is not pricey by any means. Try getting a different handheld that's X86, compatible with as much software, for cheaper, with the same level of efficiency and available gimmicky shit.
It's the OLED that needs a good price drop. But Valve won't do shit because they actually are not desperate to sell it and they even made sure to support other handheld PCs which are supposed to be their competition. And to be honest I cannot find another handheld that's more powerful at the same price of 540€, same level of efficiency (even LCD instead of OLED) with the same amount of software available (so not the Switch 2 of course). And the damn trackpads. If they needed to drop the price, it would at least have gotten a discount in the summer sale.
I wouldn't say I wouldn't want a better handheld though, that's for sure. There's definitely room to make a Steam Deck 2 much better than this shit. Even performance and price aside. For one it needs a d-pad that doesn't suck fucking dick, and VRR support. And a way to dock it that doesn't involve fucking with the only available USB-C.

The deck is made for a different audience. I didn’t get mine until last year and it’s the best gaming machine I’ve ever had. It’s great for my personal life style of moving to new places every few weeks/months
