It's nothing that steps on the toes of the original, it slots in damn near perfectly as one final hurrah, and arguably the biggest addition being Oersted's Last Stand is something that a lot of people have always wanted to see. It wasn't some retcon or true redemption, just one last act of heroism from an otherwise defeated man. That and the music, I personally adored Gigalomania (even if the name is silly) due to having watched the reveal trailer damn near a dozen times before release and them using the intro to it there. It showing up again in the literal final minutes was the last thing used all that anticipation I had for the game against me, and I did not expect it in the least.
I agree that I do wish it was tougher, but I also understand its purpose as a show fight after Regular Odio is the true "final boss" as it were.
