I still see retards talking about Koizumi like he's still relevant to 3D Mario and not an EPD manager, and not Kenta Motokura who is probably the most important name involved with 3D Mario(and Donkey Kong Bananza) right now.
Nintendo's most enduring strength is that they have enormous talent retention but also that they are constantly training a new generation of developers and designers. Most of Nintendo's big franchises currently are run by people who cut their teeth on Gamecube/GBA titles.
