sm4sh is such an odd entry. if it hadn't added classic megaman to the game i wouldn't remember anything about it

The 3DS had a tiny resolution (even worse on the XL, which Smash was bundled with) and horrible jaggies on everything, the outline was a genius idea that papered over it pretty well.

My first Smash game was 3DS, and I couldn't get into either Melee or Ultimate after it. Playing without the circle pad just feels bad

Ultimate will be remembered like this when the next smash comes out. This is why I don't like nu-smash that much, everything after Brawl feels very bland and uniform. It's probably because of all the crossovers, they have to meet brand requirements so they can't stylize the characters too much or give the game too much personality as a result
Imagine the train wreck if they tried making another Subspace Emissary. Poor Sakurai would have to sit in 500 meetings with Squeenix about what shape Cloud's belt buckle should be in a cutscene.

I don't understand how you can hate one but love the other, they play the exact same

fun but you've seen it all within an hour and it gets repetitive after that also it's a trade off for wii u having more stages and better visuals
