ZZZ doesn't really feel cheap, its just that they have no fucking idea what they're doing with the main narrative, they haven't even dipped a single toe into the main plotline with fairy that was teased with the first story trailer of the game a whole ass year ago. Cutscenes are fairly frequen, there are comic-style drawings for the main story and VN-like sprites with full unique animations for every character in the main story, no generic crossing arms or thinking pose that gets reused 3000 times. That being said as it stands the only thing it has over its competitors are the fantastic, and I mean fantastic, 3D models with ass and tits jiggle physics, fucking thigh physics among other things too

Honestly? that's not even my main problem with it, making the MCs walk around in the hollow was a stupid and rushed decision but there are advantages to it such as making things more intimate between you and the playable characters. What ruins it for me is just how boring the narrative is, 2.0 was really long and I felt like it did absolutely nothing with all that runtime, just like Amphoreus and the cliffhanger made me feel absolutely nothing about the future of that region too. It sucks because I actually want to like the game since its clearly the one they're trying the hardest with in terms of QoL and trying to please the players because of how bad its doing but man, its actually kind of hard to stick with it.
