9. CDPR has the best artists and programmers. The environments and enemies will be fantastic. Not looking forward to all the woke moments that will be plastered all over the internet for years/decades.

Actually that's a great idea. Would be cool to see the whole process too, I've always liked that about Witcher lore. How they went through all this essentially torture through alchemy to become monster slayers.

Spot on. W4 should be a prequel set right back at the creation of the Witchers (so like, 950 or so). Even like the second age of witchers would be fine. Just show us a period of time we haven't seen yet. New characters, new stories.

Play W1 and W2, man. W1 is a really quirky, janky but heartfelt attempt at making an immersive RPG. W2 is probably the best synthesis of CDPRs skills - it runs well, looks good, great story.
Both have an Enhanced/Director's cut edition which fixes up the worst bugs or issues.

The last 3 are because the combat is something they've never got right. They have all the key people from the DLCs and Phantom Liberty still.
