Ive tried to get through Undertale twice and I just cant do it. I don't like the combat. The encounters are tedious. I started with the complimenting and chatting stuff because I think it's an interesting context and want to see what happens if I never kill anyuthing. But the actual dodging is harder than I thought, the humor is decent, but it feels padded, although I havent made it out the well.

I want to like Metal Wolf, but it's got that 6th gen Fromsoft jank that wears on the more you play it. Shogo can be bullshit with things like enemy placements and AI, but that was expected of Monolith back then.

You need to learn to do that. Being talented and speaking Japanese didn't make Toby successful by itself, he also seems to have genuinely magnetic charisma and excellent networking skills. I can't think of another western dev who got integrated into the Japanese side of the industry so quickly.
