The original vierra is very much a monstrous race the more you look at each detail of their design and the rules of Vierra society in FF12 run counter to integration with other races.
Everything in FFTA2 is so different from FF12 that it doesn't feel like the same ivalice at all, no espers, no occuria, no mention of the massive war that would've just happened.

This is supposed to be an imagined vierra or a dream world but somehow Montblanc doesn't just exist in FFTA2 but is related to a major character and Mewt exists somehow and remembers being in Ivalice so it's the same ivalice? So Marche and Ritz were in the FF12 ivalice? but that's impossible because it was spawned from a game, I thought.

They're separate ivalices and separate Vierra, it's just easier to say they were designed to be separate.
