I like buying digital games more than buying physical games. It's just way more convenient.

Physical is nice kind of like how it'd be nice to have a bunch of valuable gold and silver by your side as opposed to money in a savings account, or having a physical book as opposed to an ebook, in the sense that you have something tangibly there that takes up space that is valuable and you can hold, rather than just existing in a computer. But physical games don't really offer anything over digital games when you can just back them up. Digital is no worse in terms of preservation and arguably much better.

There's places that sell audio books as a one-time purchase, you download the audio files to your hard drive and no account required. There's no problem with that kind of digital and that can quickly be put on a USB stick or disc if it needs to be taken somewhere to be listened to on-site. It's the services that insist on retaining the right to betray the customer that are the problem.

Honestly yeah but I somehow only feel this way on PC. Probably because Steam is such a goated platform. I don't feel good buying digital on console

I went cave diving once, we traveled maybe 40 feet before we noped out. At one point i suck in my stomach to fit. I thought i was so deep in, then we saw this giant room that was full of very smooth rock. Thats when we went back cause it felt kind of dangerous. I thought we went deep in, only to later find a map of the place and learn we wetr maybe 4% into the cave, after the smooth room, it keep going way longer than we went, eventually reaching two holes that went down like 200 feet amd meet back at the bottom and the back into another straight section. Apparently people had already gone there because the bottom is full of faces people have sculpted there. I wish i could go to the bottom of the hole but frankly it seems super dangerous. Some of my friends genuinely freak the fuck out, what scared me at the end was how long it took for us to get the courage to keep going but then finding out how littlw we actually went. Then finding out that the cave was apparently easy mode.
Nature is wild.
