Guide for Lossless Scaling Linux on steam deck
1) Purchase Lossless Scaling from the steam store
2)Download, and install Losless Scaling, but do not run.
3)In desktop mode enter "curl -sSf https://pancake.gay/lsfg-vk.sh | sh" into konsole
4)Make sure you have v-sync enabled in game options if available for the game it is that you want to play, and set the game to play in borderless windowed mode
5) Make sure you are using proton experimental for the game
6) add this to launch options
"DXVK_FRAME_RATE=30 ENABLE_LSFG=1 LSFG_MULTIPLIER=2 LSFG_FLOW_SCALE=1.0 LSFG_PERF_MODE %COMMAND%"

I recommend avoiding the decky plugin, and gamemode for now. Use this in desktop mode.

valve says upfront that steamos is not intended to be a desktop os replacement. its intended for gaming on amd based machines only and will always be for the foreseeable future. gamescope is integral to the whole thing and it only works on amd. nvidia has no interest in getting it to work and neither does open source. they only do the bare minimum just to keep web compatibility.

Framegen is fucking horrendous when used at low FPS, like the deck. This shit is best used to cover gaps for already high FPS like getting your 160 fps up to match your 240hz monitor. Using it to make 30 FPS look at 60 is awful, the input is laggy as fuck
