i think it depends on what interests you the most, there’s yuki yuna is a hero, which is similar to madoka but has its own identity, i highly recommend it

Madoka ruined the genre but that doesn't mean it was a bad show. It was just "What if Kamen Rider Ryuki but with Mahou Shoujo?"
Sailor Moon is still the gold standard of hero mahou shoujo, but it's practically a dead IP now that Takeuchi is done with Crystal.
Precure is the only one left.
There is no one that remembers Minky Momo.

Largely depends on what you want from magical girls. If you want violence, Nanoha, Precure, and Prillya are your best bets. If you want cute girls doing cute things, then CCS and Creamy Mami and 99% of all magical girl shows from the 80s and 90s (Minky Momo, Pastel Yumi, Magical Emi, etc.). If you want OWTHEEDGE, then there's Gen'ei, Yuuki Yuuna, Madoka, and Magical Girl Raising Project. If you want to fap, then there's Princess Tutu.

When it comes to Precure, some seasons are more combat-oriented than others, but there's a lot of cute girls doing cute things. Still, whenever things get more serious, it's really fun seeing the animation getting kicked up a notch. Even funnier is that Precure tends to have better animation than fucking DBS. The seasons I'd recommend are

>Go! Princess
I mean, at the end of the day it's a series for little girls, their families, and otaku, so yeah.
