The problem with Threedog is that if FO3 writing had any sense of self-awareness he could be a kino character, an out of touch and hypocritical asshole who sits tucked away in his tower judging everyone trying to survive in the wastes. But instead he's treated completely straight by the writers, he IS a heroic good guy who's always right, and you're evil if you disagree with him.
