Guys i have already ordered a VRR tv and it's on its way, but is VRR really that big of a deal?
Ive been using V-sync my entire damn life, and whenever the fucking games go from 60fps to 58 or 57 fps (which happens a LOT, the game stutters and pisses me off - on PC).
Does VRR cure the visible stutters basically and it always remains smooth no matter the FPS?

So you could theoretically have 60 frames in a second on average but one of them could be rendered in 8ms and then the next could be 24ms making it feel like a jittering piece of shit despite a solid framerate.

Yeah FF10 is absolute PEAK FF experience, amazing music, good characters, great graphics (at the time), great story. It had it all.. but a bit linear.
But yeah if you like FF10 you'd enjoy the hell out of E33. Think of it as FF mixed with Shadow hearts and a bit of Lost Odyssey and a lot of kino musics and a decent character-driven story.
And dont be too scared of the whole "dodge" mechanic in E33.. it's not even that hard to pull off. I was sooo bad at dodging in Sekiro yet i did great in E33 even in hard mode

I'm almost like this. I'd probably lock higher than 30 fps because I usually can afford to, but even 30 fps would probably work if I couldn't. My eyes get very quickly used to various framerates, low framerates go from looking awfully choppy to totally normal and high framerates go from impressively smooth to just normal in like 2 minutes or something. Yet I'm pretty sensitive to even fairly minor stutters.

I appreciate what digital foundry does but their content is becoming more and more bloated and unwatchable. I just want to know the internal resolution and frame rate of the game, I don't care about a 30min breakdown of the why the grass textures are slightly pixelated when using 8x zoom or the resolution of the ray trace reflections.
