The reception to Field of Glory 2 honestly made me feel like I'm living in clown land or something. Pike and Shot (Field of Glory Renaissance) has simplistic but evocative (literal) blocks of troops bristling with weapons and banners. Field of Glory 2 has units consisting of 3 dudes standing next to each other. Comments I've seen praising this as a "graphical improvement". It looks fucking embarrassing. And battles look like a fucking mess. Not to mention this is less impressive than someone playing this on tabletop in an inappropriate scale like 28mm, which would still have about 5x the minis as that game.
