I stopped shooting the white phosphorous as soon as it was clear it was aiming over exclusively civilians. Then the game just stopped and waited for me to press the trigger. So I did, watched the cutscene calling me a monster, and stopped playing my (pirated lol) copy.

It plays a bit better than K&L2 but it barely makes a difference. K&L2 is much more interesting in terms of design and setting even though its a mess. The Line is a notable game because it's a marker in how illiterate gamers were and continue to be.

It's probably more that the design for Kane and Lynch as characters was inspired by the same media that inspired the design for Michael and Trevor, i.e. Heat, Reservoir Dogs, various other crime/heist/gangster movies.

The ships are carried through space to Arrakis via navigator ships. The whole point behind why the spacing guild is so powerful is because they have a monopoly on intergalactic travel.

Spec Ops plays miles better than KL2. The shooting is barely fucking functional in KL2, the guns all feel like total shit to use. KL2 makes Spec Ops look like Max Payne in comparison.

What does this mean exactly? They're both third person cover shooters with AI partners, blind fire, all that shit. You're telling me that the gunplay in Spec Ops make you feel so much more satisfied from how tight and well designed and fun it was compared to K&L2 that you've now decided guns don't actually work properly in the latter game? There wasn't even this much glazing for Spec Ops on release, everybody knew it was just a mid clone that got popular because most of the retards playing it had never heard of Joseph Conrad and probably never watched Apocalypse Now either.

Kane & Lynch is awesome, only played both for the first time in 2023 and had a really good time. Feels like a Grindhouse double feature. They're perfect companion pieces to each other and I love how everything about the game's design and direction matches each character.
The fact that of the very few fans these games have, most of them are poser faggots who only appreciate 2 because it's "messier" and shit on 1 is criminal.
