kek will 2.3 fix it so the world actually feels alive with AI interactions happening regardless of the player? I actually like the game as a linear story-driven game, but GTA destroys it in terms of world interaction. The NPCs are basically cardboard cutouts, absolutely nothing happens without the players direct involvement, outside of the scripted events were you quickly see the same ones repeated in the same spots.

>GTA5
>NPC driver crashes into another car
>they start fighting
>one dies
>NPC steals a car and speeds off
>other cars crash
>medic van arrives for the downed NPC
>car explodes
>firefighters arive to put out the fire

Shame that nothing like this can happen in vanilla cyberpunk as the NPCs have such basic AI that's little more than pathfinding. There's mods that really help, like night city alive that adds roaming gang squads in cars that will get into fights with cops and other gangs etc, but this kind of basic interaction should be in the base game.

this game should've been semi open world
if they invested time into more rpg mechanics this game would've been miles better instead of making it open world slop

It should have been a linear Mafia 1 and 2-style game, actually.

That'll be 50% more CPU usage + tax thank you very much.
