I didn't cry because of the relationship between Olivia and Iadaken. I genuinely cried because he was such a good fucking character and I was seriously invested in him. And his death was so fucking out of left field for me. When the scene first started, I literally felt exactly how the writers wanted Inco to feel in that moment. Something's off. People are kinda acting weird, but you don't know why. You shrug it off and continue your day, paling around with Olivia during lunch. People are still acting weird. Teachers are acting weird. There's a serious foreboding aura. Inco gets called to the office. You expect to see the principal, but it's Mr. Ferris.

I was around for the initial threads back when Sony did the PS5 presentation and everyone was shitposting but I moved on when the threads started getting nuked, remembered seeing a thread that Snoot Game released but forgot to download it until I saw a random /v/ thread about it years ago, remembered it was a thing and gave it a try
I was expecting it to be shitpost central but found myself surprised at most of the writing being decent and liking the characters

I got E3 and then later found out the only reason I got it was because I didn't wait for Trish after seeing the principal. It was a good ending, though

Nah, I think it was perfect, personally. Anything more and it would have hinted too much towards the inevitable outcome. You don't want to make it too obvious that something big is about to happen to a character. The fact that I had no idea it was coming, despite the subtle hints and the very obvious send off in the art hall during the storm, made it all the more powerful when Inco walked into the office with Mr. Ferris.

I never cared for VNs, much less some furry high school romance VN, but Snoot and Wani hit so different. There’s more there than just “tfw no dino GF”. These characters come off more human than so many other stories. The conflicts these characters have being so incredibly real. The romance is just a part of the bigger picture of who these characters are. I swear this character writing is from fist hand experience.

I'm glad that cavemanon got through the "drama" fine, had me worried for a period of time.

I'm happy with the E3 we got currently. In my opinion it's the best ending in the entire game because it's nothing but hopeful for the outlook on future. E4 and the prologue are definitely the best "happy endings", but E3 just fills you with determination

I was that guy. I knew about Snoot Game since GVH announcement at PS5 showcase but couldn't bother with it because I'm not into furry shit. I started with Wani instead, but for this happening is all thanks to one of my friends whom I share libraries with on Steam that bought it on winter sale. I laughed at him and thought "what the fuck is this gay shit". Decided to play it just to make fun of myself to show all my friends I'm playing some degenerate furry dating game. The rest is history.

All I can say is, I'm not the same after I've finished it. This is the first game ever to make me cry, and I've cried like a fucking bitch. Couldn't get it out of my head for months. One of the beautiful stories I could have ever witness in my entire life.

Why did they make a good portion of the supporting cast so irrelevant compared to snoot? You could remove characters like Liz, Kiara, and Lunara and virtually nothing would change.

They seem to be aware of it as a potential issue. Seems they intentionally decided to make the central pair the focus with everyone else only entering the story to affect that central pair. Every side character does go through their own arc but it mostly seems to happen off screen. Would have been perfect fodder for extra side scenes, since Wani lacks scenes that don't push the main plot forward, but at the same time the focus on pushing the plot forward keeps things rolling. I think in the end they picked their priorities for the volume of content they felt they could achieve.
Personally I really wish there were way more pointless SoL scenes, even gag stuff, scenes that you could cut and it wouldn't affect the story much but are fun with the characters.
