>>715496320>How long would that feasibly take? There's several ways to look at this.
>What Capcom considers mainlineThat would be the four remakes, and then 5-8.
I'd say that's roughly in the ballpark of 110 hours.
RE:3 is about five hours.
REmake, RE5, and RE7 would all be ten hours each.
RE:2 and Village are about fifteen hours.
RE:4 is closer to twenty.
RE6 is about twenty five.
>But what about ALL the mainlineThat adds RE1-4, Code Veronica, Zero, and Revelations to the pile.
RE1 & 3 are about eight hours each, Zero is closer to ten, both Revelations games I'd put at around twenty, and CV is about twelve.
So, 110 + 16 + 10 + 20 + 12 = 168 hours.
>But what about the spinoffsSurvivor = 5 hours (really short).
Dead Aim = 3 hours (REALLY short)
Umbrella Chronicles with all scenarios is around 15 hours.
Darkside is more like 10.
Umbrella Corps.' Experiment Mode is about 8 hours.
And presuming just completions of the scenarios (not all endings), Outbreak File #1 would be about 15 hours and #2 about 20.
So, 168 + 5 + 3 + 15 + 10 + 8 + 15 + 20 = 243.
And to make that even, account for potential mental retardation, round that up to 250 hours. No non-canon shit here, and Survivor 2 is an arcade game with variable definitions of "completing".
That means all of RE in terms of games that "matter" would take a bit over ten full days to go through. Presuming someone plays games at an unhealthy rate of four hours a day, that would be about two months of continuous playing.
