Yeah, that sucks. I guess it's inevitable. Even if you don't care about the phrasing but you want money and don't want the current cancel culture witch hunting and demonetizing new videos, you probably have to remove stuff like that eventually or they make a bigger issue about it

His FF7 animations have been completely scrubbed from the internet too, even just MENTIONS of them are hard to find.
I remember, Arin Hanson. I remember when you were funny.

Inevitable business decision. He's not just lone-wolfing it as a solo animator. He has more than one company, a team of staff on payroll, and a livelihood to maintain. Gotta scrub up those socials and clean anything that could be used against you.
>>715495665 >>715498685
it only cost him his old friends, an animation career, his fanbase, having normal fans that didn't stalk him and write erotic gay fanfic about him, and not associating with the biggest lolcow of 2025.
great business decision.

You're leaving the part out where he made a stack ton of cash money for extremely little work.

To be fair GG WAS at the top for a good spell there. Those halcyon days are definitely behind them now. They chased the algorithm instead of creating content they actually enjoyed.
The Grumps, especially 10MPH, is far better content now than their Let's Play series.
GG in general is also super over-leveraged on staff. They have something like 40 employees, of which like 20 just sit around and do nothing.
>>715499992
i didn't forget, i just found that irrelevant when compared next to all the other things he lost. value isn't just in money you fucking jew.
>>715499992
Yeah, I'm sure he's doing fine. >tons of cash >smaller fanbase than at his peak but still has some diehard fans >a wife who's attractive to him and seems to love him deeply >an inner circle of actual friends
I don't think he's too choked up about how things turned out, though he might miss the peak Egoraptor/GG years
>>715500179
Well I made a specific point about a business decision, not a social/emotional one. You suggested that it was a bad business decision, and you were wrong.
I never argued that Arin is in a better place or is happier, only that he made a business decision which proved fruitful.
Gain some reading comprehension, nigga.
>>715500184 >smaller fanbase than at his peak but still has some diehard fans
you mean a fanbase so mentally ill that they will literally stalk him and write gay fanfic about him and watch his every move
>>715496103 >>715495410 >>715500402
just download the original .swf flash file from swfchan.
literally every swf that has ever existed has been posted on /f/ at some point and is archived on swfchan
>>715500119 >The Grumps, especially 10MPH, is far better content now than their Let's Play series.
Yeah, nothing better than watching Arin act like a retarded ten year old having a fit throwing boxes around and smearing as much shit on the table and himself as possible while simultaneously stuffing his face full of whatever food they happen to have that day. It's always a treat when Dan gets to make his one singular attempt at a joke before spending the rest of the episode gawking at the messes Arin makes. Quality content.
>>715499782 >an animation career
I think this is what gets me the most: he willingly gave up anything resembling creative fulfillment for a cheap and easy paycheck. Doing Game Grumps isn't hard, he could do artistic shit outside of that, but he just doesn't. He intentionally plays games badly, plays Magic and goes to fucking Disney like its his second home. Dan has his band, he does things that mean something to him. So what the fuck is Arins purpose in life anymore? To just make money doing nothing?
>>715503136
But he doesn't even do that. He doesn't animate, doesn't voice act (outside of doing stupid voices for Game Grumps), doesn't do music anymore, he just doesn't do anything.
>>715503450
Not to defend the guy, but he literally has 111 VA credits. >https://www.imdb.com/name/nm2429688/ >he just doesn't do anything
i think he's in millennial ennui - he should be knocking up his wife and getting on with being a dad, but instead he's attached to his childhood comforts and is experimenting with gender/sexuality as a way to stave-off maturing.
Bros do you get b& for posting in an e-celeb thread? Also I feel like posting this link to an A.I. Klasky Csupo voice thing I found because the painter boss from Castle Crashers uses the same voice. But would posting such a link get me b& as well?
>>715504653
Oh well. I'll just post it in a Castle Crashers thread or something. Also anons weren't exactly doing a great job of hiding this topic either.
>>715506509
I never understood the appeal of /f/. You had a short list of .swf files that swapped out over time. Most of them were repeats, or totally worthless. It was rarely ever anything fun.
>>715506786
Not him but that wasn't always the case. We had an entire era where new flashes were posted daily.
Nowadays there are still a small handful of guys still making flashes, like that one pokegirl porn guy.
>>715499782 >not associating with the biggest lolcow of 2025
I haven't heard a single thing Egoraptor has done in half a decade. You can hardly be the "biggest lolcow" of anything if people don't spread the embarrassing stuff you're doing.
I remember going on his website every day checking if there was a new animation. Then he posted his girlfriend and how he's marrying her and she's so beautiful. But then I saw her pics he posted and I was like damn wtf why is she ugly.
>>715507252
I vaguely remember that name, wasn't he making a /vr/-themed Pokémon ROMhack like ten years ago? I remember a demo released for it but then it fizzled out
>>715506786 >Most of them were repeats
people posted different stuff on different days.
also there were a lot of edits and good bait.
it was also nice going back to the old days of the internet
