I beat the game just using dark fists once, that was really fun. Named my guy "MisterFister" and everything.
DS2 had the best combo of weapons and weird shit imo. I like the one covenant ring that lets your bare hands scale with strength and the old iron turtle armor so you can go running around as donatello.
DS3 had the aesthetics down, though. Never before has a souls world been graced with the beauty of the Archdeacons set and nothings ever came close. Marvelous.

They should make DS4 but you start the game as some rando piece of shit whos struggling to get his way to the first flame and grab a lord soul. Once you do you can chose to be Gwyn, Nito, Pigmy or Witch and spend the rest of the game fucking up dragons.

3.5k hours on ds3 here. It has better and more reactive movement than Elden Slop even if it does not have a jump button.
The linear world gets boring real fast though and makes replaying the game real bad.
Nothing in Elden Slop is as fun to use as Ledo's Hammer. Devonia's hammer is such a sad excuse.
The DLC is much better than the base game.

Also unironically Elden Slop is Dark Souls 2 2 under the hood, and no I don't mean its the same engine obviously. From the animations used, to how the character runs, to weapons, to stamina usage, to buff stacking and many other aspects; its all just dark souls 2 again.
But at least dark souls 2 was a fun game with replayability.
