i was pretty high on tifa landfall decks pre-ban but red was always a bit faster and just trampled over it, but now its one of the faster decks in the meta, if you draw into snakeskin or the opponent doesnt get the earlier removal tifa can still ohko on turn 3 through a blocker

I legitimately think MtG will never have a "bad" quarter anymore, they've proven that people just gobble up the shit that they put out without question nowadays.
Remember how Morrodin was so broken that the lead designer of the set got yelled at by the CEO because it was affecting people's perception of the game? I just came back to MTG from YGO and tbdesu as shit as Magic has become in many ways, Yugioh is literally unplayable.
Like it seriously is a contender for worst TCG of all time, the fact that you have to sit through 15 minute (not an exaggeration it actually is that long) combos every single round only to scoop if you don't have an immediate out is just so unfathomably shit and nobody would play it if not for its legacy popularity and nostalgia.

The game is way too fast and way too fucked for a 2 mana 3/3 haste trampler with counter evasion.
