So do people actually like this game or its writing, or do people just want the chubby sister to fuck the emo twink brother?

The writing is kino at times but its bogged down massively by the cartoonishly evil world lore (haha the evil businessman is telling his evil plans on TV! the soda company advertises its bad for your health, so funny!) and everything in the demon realm feeling like filler + the dogshit gameplay sections.

Not necessarily. The author was clearly trying to go for a "hilariously fucked up world" thing (which I usually enjoy) like Billy & Mandy or Postal 2 but it's very at odds with the protags being meant to be taken seriously.

You have to enjoy it for the edginess.

The developer released it as a one off but it blew up so then she was forced to flesh out the world the characters were in.

The problem was that the entire premise of the game was just satire about COVID.
