Also reminder he tried to greatly nerf the body sliders, at least once or twice, but it backfired on him once people started leaving negative reviews so he had to backpedal.
Also second reminder that he sells early update preview access to Patreon paypigs, while people who purchased the game on Steam had to go for (up until this recent update) over half a year with no updates.

Glad someone made a thread, i just started the game and currently sitting in character editor and want to be a mage since i dont like close combat.
I have a few question if you guys dont mind.

-Does race matter in the long run? I like Poons the most, followed by Imps
-Where should i put my 5 points in?
-The weapon that resembles a staff is the one i should pick when i want to be a mage i assume?
-Where should i put my future stat points in assuming i get more of those?
-What are the things im 100% locked in forever after i made my decision, any kind of do-overs/respec/character edit?
-Any other tips for a mage beginner or beginner as a whole?

I think job and race are the only unchaneable things. You can reallocate stats as much as you want so it doesnt matter and also you can get stones that change what your weapons scale off of so you can use whatever you want but I think you can get a special charge attack for the weapons built for your class so for mage it'll be staffs and bells. Race doesnt really matter but Kubolds starts with a skill that lets them instantly cast spells but you already have such short cast times it really doesnt matter.

This is actually how many things work, they just usually remove the file extension so it's not so obvious.
Undertale saves work like this for instance, it's just a text file. If you know what line does what you can just go in and change the values.

Thanks, so from what i understand i can respec my stat points and theres also a bell that i can use as a mage?
Sounds interesting never played a game with a bell as a weapon so i will 100% use that instead of a staff, but i cant pick a bell in the creation screen unfortunately.
When i create my character in single player can i also use her in multiplayer, that confuses me a bit.

Yes, finally. It's been 8 months. This kind of activity is what got me into the game in the first place before Early Access. I suppose the "treat it like a normal game" phase was needed for everyone to get their fill, and we can go back to be in active development again.

buddy parchment paper is for baking, use waxpaper for storing and throw a silica packet in with it. Silica and Silicone are very different, the coating on parchment paper is great for high temps but will weaken and get damp really quickly at room temp.
