>>715572953>as long as you set texture pool properlyLikely with stuttering out the ass like many games show. Also majority of those games have run perfectly fine with full high settings on the 16GB card. With 8GB you have to run medium textures when you wouldn't need to.

I don't plan on upgrading until 2028 at the earliest, the last major release that interested me was Halo Infinite and that ran fine on my GTX 1070ti. There's gonna have to be something amazing to justify me upgrading because pretty much all of the stuff releasing lately is hot garbage.
You can tell why Monster Hunter Wilds has the Overwhelming Negative reviews on Steam (https://store.steampowered.com/app/2246340/Monster_Hunter_Wilds/) because the /v/ average gamer here has outdated GPUs but they insist on making PC fanboy posts against consoles 24/7.

And yes, but I've been waiting for a truly worthy upgrade since it's been holding up so well. I don't care much for graphics and dropping settings still gives me decent FPS. Only having 8Gb of vram fucking sucks though.
I'm also torn between AMD and Jewvidia. Nvidia haven't exactly been putting out particularly good stuff lately and I really hate DLSS and Frame Gen, but this card has been fantastic and I do also have a Gsync native monitor.
>>715577026It's fair assumption because the VRAM can't just disappear. It must be being used in somewhere else in the system. The card has 8. They use 6.5. The card runs out. 1.5 is missing.

not until it dies. It's about the same power of a base PS5 which is fine with me for the time being.
I'm beginning to see occasional artifacting so that will prob be sooner than later. Life has been decent and I have enough to buy the parts for a mid-high range build when it does. I may do a high end build this time if BF6 is somewhat decent. it won't be who am I kidding
>>715578674And the 4K one I posted doesn't show the gap. My usage goes up. Up to 8. Their doesn't. The card has 8. Not 6.5. And why it shows 2 VRAM numbers is because it's total vs process, like I told before. The software they use is picrel.
