This, I have the same internet friends I've had since 2012. Something happened with the switch to live service games now there's no sense of community anymore.

How am I supposed to make friends on games where its a new juanpablo77 every other match? It was way easier on things like counter strike or tf2 where everyone found servers they liked and played them every weekend.

Drugs and booze. I just lost all my friends and shit fucking sucks. I'm 35 and living on the edge. Weird how my friends gave everyone else the benefit of the doubt but then the buck stopped with me. I really wish I would have killed myself instead.

you don't. there's no such thing as making new friends either assuming you're in your 20's.
everybody's friend groups were built up from since they were teenagers. no matter how you insert yourself, it'll never be the same and you will never truly fit in
enjoy the rest of your life with nothing but acquaintances and zero deep connections

Almost offed myself and being in the horrid state I was went to the wrong guy for help. He instead said I had a rape dungeon and was planing on raping 2 of my friends because I couldn't tell you. Instead of talking to me about it and finding it weird a friend of 8 years would do such a thing they just kicked me and started blew the lie up even worse. The few people who could vouch for me instead didn't because they don't trust me since the truth doesn't make me look same either. In the past we've had literal pedos, rapists and abusers and they all gave them second and third chances for some reason, but it got to me and they just shrugged and don't care.

I've never had a friend.

I played Dota, added people I had good games with, and then queued up with them for future games. Over time we got to know each other and we still play together 13 years later.
