Don't you get bored of playing the same mechanics year after year?
Sure, graphics get better but the underlying game is the same today as it was decades ago. Point and shoot. Jump on thing. Dodge. Etc.
We all know stories in games are dog shit.
So what keeps you playing?

i take breaks from games and i don't try to play every game. some games are poorly made and if a game is not enjoyable i drop it for a better game.
