you can get a desktop pc to do your computer shit and a console to play vidya
laptops are ass because you get the worst of the two and none of the benefits
the only real laptop for people that value their time is a mac

Overpriced as fuck as you would expect from Garbageware. You can get a Legion for $500 cheaper and it even has an OLED screen on top of it.

Short answer: No
Long answer: Absolutely no. You're paying the money of 4-5x Steam Decks for a less portable device. For some reason.
If you aren't buying it for the sake of portability (travelling long commutes etc.) then REALLY ABSOLUTELY no. You're wasting your money on alien stickers and buying shitty overpriced hardware
I bought an Alienware desktop and it's awesome. It doesn't bother me that some people on /v/ are mad that I bought an Alienware. I'm too busy playing games.
I got a laptop for like 850€ and have been able to run everything on it so far, even pretty demanding games.
No idea what even the point of 2000+ laptops is.

You're going to need noise cancelling headphones if you get one. I don't know why you wouldn't just build a desktop pc if you're going to spend that much.
I bought an Alienware desktop during covid when it was cheaper than buying a GPU. It's a fucking piece of shit thats loud as fuck. The PSU failed after a year. Don't bother.

It works, so long as you stick to 1440p on AAA games. (The 12gb VRAM will kill you on AAA slop, I remember that the RE4 remake took over 14gb when maxed out at 4k.) Most non-AAA games will probably be fine even in 4k, their requirements tend to be so low. (Not counting shit like E33)
