People easily understand that a game for a system with a different number on it won't play on their system with a lower number on it. People didn't buy PS4 games thinking they'd run on the PS3 for instance.

i remember very early in the 3ds years people thought if you sawed off the tab on the 3ds cart then it would run on a DS and those kinds of posts only happened because XY were announced as 3ds exclusives which meant they had to buy a 3DS for it and couldn't fathom the idea of that so it wouldn't surprise me if there's still retards out there with that logic
