Hey, a thread! I finished TD almost a couple weeks ago.

I didn't spend more than a day or two going through them, so it barely feels like I played it at all. Mostly I just died when I tried to get too clever with dodging or from carelessly rushing up to get spirits. Except for Youmu I lost a few lives towards the end with Miko after I overthought how to use her shot for a bit..
After UFO it was a bit of a letdown, I question what ZUN was thinking. But general easiness aside, stage 6 was so boring. The buildup to the final boss was so exciting in the last few games too.. it made Miko feel very lackluster.
I really liked stage 1's theme though and there were some cool parts, like the rushing feeling in stage 4. Youmu's shottype was pretty fun too.
I moved onto DDC after that, but I haven't had much time to play lately. I cleared Raymoo's routes a couple days ago.

It's super generous with resources for sure. Marisa's big fat ass gave me trouble on my last few runs, but I can't imagine it'll take too long to finish. Why can't she have her piercing lasers back? That was her best feature...
