the EA higher ups who're gonna cannabalize DICE like every other company they've owned if they fail
BF has been doing terribly since V, if they can't make this DICE is probably cooked. We saw this with Visceral

I'll never understand the whole concept of constantly adjusting upwards regardless of previous numbers.
My old job did the same thing. Every single year they set sales goals up and adjusted everything according to that. But it was unrealistic. Every fucking year it went up and if they weren't met then it was fucking doom and gloom.
The actual sales numbers were good though, but not compared to the insanely unrealistic goals set by the management.
And what's the answer to not reaching said unrealistic goal? Raise it next year.

The "ivory tower" isn't just a figure of speech.
These people live in glass boxes miles into the sky and never actually interact with the world. They have a handful of very close people they ever interact with.
They genuinely do not know what goes on outside their walls.
They have no ear to the ground. Hell, they don't have an ear to the floor below them.
