The main racing can be an afterthought so long as City Trial is lit. If the main racing and City Trial is good, then it's a good successor to Air Ride.

Kirby Air Ride on Gamecube was shit and also directed by Sakurai so I don't expect this one to be much better.

The challenge/checklist system made Air Ride one of the best games of all time so if the new one has that, I'm game.
