I truly believe people who play gacha and are obsessed with coomer games do not like video games. They never played a game so good that they wanted more of that game forever. Imagine playing a game thats such a masterpiece in gameplay/design and thinking to yourself β€œyou know what would make it better? This game becoming 1000x worse, turned into mobile slop, pressuring you into gambling real life money and doing all of that just so i can focus on jerking off to big anime titties”

This modern day world is brainrotted to the core, we really live in a black mirror episode

People are just dumb cattle who are chasing small continous dopamine hits, and gacha games are really good at exploiting that. That's why the only hope is that one day gacha shit, and all microtransactions slop will be heavily regulated, if not strictly banned. Retards who are willing to drop hundreds or thosands of dollars on a single game are singlehandedly killed the old videogame industry, and belong in a mental asylum.

I love gacha slop and horse racing. My favourite game ever is gothic 2 and I recently played the new TR update in Morrowind.

I unironically think that most modern games get mogged by gacha.

What a stupid and completely meaningless sweeping statement.

My favourite games of all time would be ones like Emperor: RotMK, Ceasar 3, BG2, WotR, FF5, FE:A, Sakuna, Wind Waker, Xenoblade 2and Anno1800.

I've played plenty of games that I never wanted to end. And, I've played FEH, GFL1 and GFL2 as well, and loved all of them in their own ways.

GFL1 especially has characters, a world and a story that's easily on par with a full price game. It tells a complete story where characters grow, change, regress and die. And at the end, it comes to a complete and completely fitting conclusion. I can look back on events Deep Dive and Continuum Turbulence and still get hit with the kind of heavy emotions as any other full priced game. GFL2 is still putting the pieces in place for its story so, it's not quite at that level, but it's still extremely strong and moving in a good direction.

In short: Kill yourself.

Just because I emd up playing gacha, doesn't mean I like paying for RNG. It's completely retarded. Worst case scenario I'd rather pay upfront to unlock a character than whatever the fuck is this stupid moneygrabbing mechanic that is somehow defended by addicts just because the developers know how to manipulate drop rates so it doesn't look completely scummy
I play them because the only Japs, Chinks, and Koreans that still have the decency to hire my favorite seiyuu are gacha devs
>Console iDOLM@STER
Dead
>Freedom Wars
Dead
>Akiba's Trip
She didn't even show up for Beat and wasn't part of the main cast in the anime, so, dead
All I can depend on is just 1-2 VN series from the same company so my options keep getting limited
>Just don't play them then hurr vote with your wallet
The argument falls flat when these faggots have been pumping out social games that cast said seiyuu even when I don't touch them or tried them without spending any money until it was shut down like Destiny Child and Strike Witches United Front

I don't play gacha but this has never happened to me. You sound poor.

I finish a game, I uninstall it and buy a new one to play. Repeat at infinitum. I don't have a favorite game, never had. Been playing videogames non-stop since I was 4 when my dad won a SNES on a local lottery event.

The only times in my life were I played the same game after finishing it back then when I was poor and couldn't afford other videogames so I was forced to endlessly play garbage like diablo 2 and warcraft 3. As soon as I got money to afford more than 1 game that stopped.

There are elements of video game in any gacha, and some may be better than others.
The main draw is essentially being conned into the reward mechanics of gambling. Any attempt to pretend otherwise is degenerate. Someone who doesn't pay a penny but plays a gacha is just thrifting their dopamine.
No gacha no matter how good the game is can be worth engaging with gacha. This is always true, and it's always morally correct to mock gachafags.

To unlock a gacha-pro comment from and see some interesting plot development and my man tits please pay me $10.99 50-60 times or painfully grind for 3 months.

Not to defend gacha's predatory systems but do you have such a low impulse control that that's how you think gacha is meant to be played?

Like, hell, I tried out a few gachas last year for the first time, and honestly they were a pretty fun experience. It's just not a game type for people with low impulse control or for crybabbies that want every single thing in it (all characters, all weapons, all trinkets etc) as well as having them maxed out.

Let me use Genshin as an example: If you really want a specific banner character, you WILL get that character for absolutely free, by just playing the game. Sure, doing stuff like dailies help to save up for more currency and whatnot, especially if you've exhausted other ways of getting the currency

The other optional gacha (in mihoyo games specifically, in this case) like the Weapon gacha in Genshin is PURE whalebait. "But it's really good for my character!" You absolutely do NOT need it to have a solid team composition, and it is NEVER necessary. "No but this character is useless without this item!" No, it just means there are other characters that are better if you don't have that weapon, but the truth is that getting "the best stuff" in gacha is always for braindead whales that absolutely want to plow through everything and one shot everything effortlessly because they either can't be bothered to actually play the game well or they crave the power fantasy. Same thing for getting different copies of the same character so their passives are much better -- sure some of them may be great, especially the first copy, but it's absolutely not necessary. Just whalebait.

tl;dr gacha can be pretty fun if you don't have a baby's impulse control, if you want a specific character you will get it by just playing the game, and don't fall for whalebait shit

You posted one of the tamest games ever for that supposed "coombaiting".
Genshin and Star Rail also barely have coombaiting.
Overwatch has more coombaiting than all those 3 gachas combined.

Uma Musume doesn't seem like coomer game. The lore is so good and the racing mechanics are fun. It would be fun even without the gacha.
Action Taimanin is also another decent gacha that you don't have to spend money on. Yeah, it's based on a porn game, but this version isn't porn and it's a hack n' slash with actual strategy/skill and difficulty (if you want it to be).

Besides excellent character designs and gameplay mechanics (for a mobile game), both of these games have really great lore. It's fun to read up on characters/events in the wiki, and get invested in the story. And both of them have a ton of fun stuff to do.
