Honestly I didn't even know what they were doing with the plot anyways. There's no villain really in Act 2. There's not really any kind of call to action, only a curiosity to visit systems, solve companion and side quests, and build out your little empires. It's alright, but I prefer crpgs with defined villains through the whole game who act on their own actively fucking with the player.

Jhae is a street rat that was lucky enough to catch your attention in a random bar. She's the lowest character in your group in terms of social status and relevance in the plot.

Idira is a unsanctioned psyker, which means she can do shit other psykers can't or aren't willing to do. For a heretic/ruthless iconoclast run, she's pretty good, but, again, she was out as soon as she was proven too unstable.

I love shotguns. I think they are the best guns of all guns. Sometimes I go into the forest and just shoot at trees. You essentially need to make two separate story lines, where you can switch to Chaos at multiple points if you want to, because going full Chaos retard mode and all your guys still being basically business as usual is problematic.

So with the two overseer pets, the ENTIRE party is fully buffed because of Idira, heinrix and RT are ready to go, enemies are massively aoe debuffed because of the servo skull/pasqal, cass is granting extra turns / alpha strike + her navigator debuffs/buffs with zones and whatnot.
RT and argenta just absolutely meatgrind packs of enemies, heinrix 1 taps anything he touches, nearly instantly killed some of the bosses on kiava gamma. This has been the most laughably easily unfair run.

Some of these fights I'm not even taking damage.

The combat in this game is a joke. It makes it impossible for me to replay it because I feel like I'm not even really playing a game, since there's no challenge or tactics to any of it, you just make correct decisions in character building and a bit of itemization and every fight is just Alpha Strike into everyone dies, for the rest of the game. And this happens at the latest midway through Act 2. And yes, on the highest difficulty. How they made combat so utterly boring and terrible is beyond me.
