Apparently handheld mode (on that horrendously ugly and smeary screen) fares better with much less drops. It's so fucked that the vastly inferior way to play (handheld) has higher clock speed leading to better performance in CPU-limited games

I can't believe we're only one month in and already need a Switch 2 Pro

That's not me you retarded fuck, but it's a common idea. Switch 2 performance is already struggling in major titles

>bro just play handheld on that dogshit screen!!
is not a valid response

You don't need a "Switch 2 Pro" that will never exist, you need Nintendo to figure out docked VRR over USB-C.

PS5 could run this sack of shit at 4k/60 locked.

And I wouldn't buy it even then because Nintendo makes shit games for toddlers

That's the problem, USB-C doesn't transport a VRR signal. So the HDMI literally CAN'T carry it.

At least not without wrapping the VRR signal into some other data that goes to the dock and from there where it transforms it, it turns it into a real VRR signal.

But I think even the HDMI signal uses the "HDMI over USB" signal standard, so even then they couldn't add it unless they created a new dock entirely. Nevermind that any processing of the signal would introduce output delay.
