I played this in high school and was blown away. Opening scene is awesome, going back to ishimura is phenomenal and the daycare is one of the best levels ever. Pure chaos, terror and horror. As good if not better than re4.

It worked making the Ishimura open since it's not that big of a ship.
But the Sprawl is a giant city. you only explore like a fraction of the station in canon

No idea how you could change that without making the Sprawl into like a massive open world and I do not like that idea.

The worst part about Dead Space 2 is that the Vintage Suit, my second favorite to the Original DS1 suit, has that retarded hood under the helmet. The cutscenes before and after the return to ishimura are supposed to be some of the most intense in the game but if you wear that suit Isaac looks like fucking Buzz Lightyear
