Mine was also NG3 but it was with save states before every jump and enemy spawn. glad me and you suffered through the same experience and belong to an exclusive club together, OP
Ys on Nightmare was pretty up there for me. However, I still beat it in one sitting, so it's not really as much of a battle of endurance as some longer games may be.

What did he mean by that? I beat Witcher 3 on Death March using this one simple trick >walk 10 feet, f5 >jump over a rock, f5 >finish conversation, f5 >new gwent card, f5
It's simple, really.
I was late to the whole soulslike genre. So when I started playing it, which was Dark Souls 1, for the first playthrough I never increased my HP because I already knew that there were some nerds playing the whole thing without being hit, so I figured that increasing my HP was purely optional.
So I know I know, soulslike games are easy for you guys but that definitely was a tough entry for me

nigga I actively chose not to increase my HP because I knew that people beat those games without ever being hit, so I knew that whatever hit me EVER in that game could have been avoided. So I pumped those stats in offensive stats only instead and whenever I died knew I could have not been hit by whatever mechanic that killed me
