Just a reminder, Mordred had an artificially speedup childhood, she's actually still a child. Everything she did is perfectly understandable if you view her as a child below the age of 10 and she still managed to basically mutually kill Artoria (with some cursed help). What I'm saying is, that Mordred never managed to achieve her full potential, not as a fighter and not as a fullfledged person. In a timeline where she would survive her battle with Artoria, she would easily surpass her in battle if given a year more or two of training.
