Yes, Blue Reflection Sun had actual ''feet fanservice'', this is just an example. The character is Azumi Nanaka, not that her name matters, Blue Reflection Sun is dead.

And yes, I did this thread just to answer the question of 715596615 in that thread.

Actually, no. Nights of Azure 2 was released in 2017 and since then, nothing, and a few years ago Koei Tecmo released DX versions of Ciel nosurge and Ar nosurge...in Japan. Supposedly it's not easy to make or publish a new EXA_PICO game or a new Ar Tonelico/Ar nosurge game because Bandai Namco (at least partially) owns the rights of that IP. The most you should expect is a DX version or new version of one of the games with the DLC included a new features/content, but after the failure (more or less) of Blue Reflection Sun, I don't expect much and I don't think we'll get a new game.

Xiao Meiqi, the oldest girl of the playable characters according to the wiki.

And that's it, those are all the girls that appeared only in Blue Reflection Sun if one doesn't count that woman which wasn't a playable character, so, the game basically had 4 exclusive (so to speak) girls, the other girls also appear in one of the other games (or both console games) and/or the anime.

How daring of you to say that when there's only a few sexualized images in the thread and when Xiao Meiqi isn't even underage. Even if I agreed that these characters are underage (and they are, most of them), I still wouldn't use the word ''children'', if you know of anyone who is 12 years old or less who looks like Azumi or Hinako (in fiction or real life), tell me, because I've never seen someone around that age who looks like these characters.

Where are the images of ''kids'' in their underwear in this thread?
Also, Ryza isn't the best example because some people consider it inferior compared to other Atelier games especially the Arland games and the Dusk trilogy, in the case of Stellar Blade and especially NieR Automata, it's true that those are games most people like and they are considered good or even amazing games, but the Ryza games? Not really, some people don't like them, it depends on who you ask.

I should also mention the fact that Blue Reflection: Second Light is considered a good game especially compared to the first one, with a metascore of 77/78, a user score of 7.7 and a lot of positive review on YouTube, people consider it a good or even great game, the first game and dead gacha? Yeah, not everyone liked them but the second game is another story.

Blue Reflection has no reason to exist other than to appeal to a small minority of coomers who belong in a supermax but don't worry because Trump is in charge and he'll fix the industry soon enough and make gaming great again

The post that says ''there's only a few sexualized imaes in the thread'' didn't age well after all, but at least it's art that isn't always posted in Blue Reflection (Sun) threads.

Yeah, Apple didn't like those CG images, I don't doubt the possibility that Blue Reflection Sun would have suffered even more censorship or changes if Koei Tecmo or some other company had tried to publish the game in the west like the first Atelier Resleriana (which was uncensored worldwide in the sense that the content was the same but some designs, like Plachta's design, were censored).

Ryza had normie appeal because for once Gust chose to sexualize an adult woman (or at least what RESEMBLES an adult seeing as how well developed and thicc she is) instead of children.

Yumia followed suit with another adult looking protagonist and wouldnโ€™t you know it, both it and the Ryza series turned out to be the best selling games in the entire Atelier franchise and even in Gustโ€™s studio output compared to their usual pedo slop.

Turns out sex does indeed sell, but only if itโ€™s adults.

Besides, there is fanservice in both Blue Reflection games but they aren't hentai games or even on par with something like Bullet Girls and Valkyrie Drive: Bhikkhuni, that's not the idea behind Blue Reflection in general.

This game had so much promise, a Gust + the Magical Girl genre should have been a match made in heaven and they fucked it up and every time one of these threads gets made I'm reminded about how badly Gust fucked this up and how Koei Tecmo was allowed to get away with its greed trying to milk Gust fans

Any other company would be burned to the ground for behaving like Koei Tecmo does. I know Gust fans love Atelier and want to keep supporting Gust to ensure the next cute alchemist gets a release but come on, this isn't helping anyone. It's long overdue that Koei Tecmo is boycotted and forced to sell off Gust or close down then Gust/the former Gust developers can go and do their own thing making the massive Atelier game they want to and not the 1 year dev turnaround one Koei Tecmo requires them to make to stay afloat

Iโ€™ll always be mad about the Blue Reflection Sun gacha. It was like a dream to me. I was hoping itโ€™d follow the formula of gacha like Bang Dream or Project Sekai where we get frequent events centered around a small cast of girls and one particular problem they face. But it was always just a dream. The gacha died before it even reached Global markets. Itโ€™s a miracle we even got BRTie and the anime. Blue Reflection unfortunately was never meant to have a gacha.

GUST and KT are turbocucked and Second Light was massively neutered compared to the first game. It's safe to say they are not capable of making uncompromised otaku games any more. They can't even do a bath scene right these days.

Ryza was a lightning in a bottle moment because the thighs went viral. Every subsequent game sold worse. They're still riding the wave nonetheless, but it will peter out eventually. Yumia's reception is already much more frosty than the Ryza games and more people are openly criticizing how sanitized and dumbed down the games have become.

She looks great.
Kishida hasn't done the artwork for any games since blue reflection, has he? Hope he has something in the works.

Yes, after Blue Reflection Sun he hasn't done the artwork for games developed by Gust. In the last year and this year apparently he's been working in a maid cafe.

Oh, he is, I've seen some photos. If not as part of the job, Mel Kishida *at least* cross-dresses as a hobby.

Hmm, this thread may be autosaging. If that's the case, that's a first...in the context of threads about Blue Reflection in general.

Oh please, GUST went beyond even that back then. The worst part? This game is stuck on the PS3, and it doesn't even emulate properly. Ar Tonelico Qoga is in real danger of becoming lost media because nu-GUST and KT are too pussy to touch it for a rerelease.

The thread really is autosaging...A Blue Reflection thread, autosaging. There's a first time for everything.

You joke, but Blue Reflection is also rated R18+ like Atelier Rorona Plus and Atelier Rorona Plus, the difference is the game was rated R18+ because of ''nudity related to incentives and rewards'', not ''references to sexual violence''.

Ar Tonelico Qoga, a PS3 exclusive and to this day the only game developed by Gust rated M for Mature...even though it's only rated CERO C and 12+ in Europe.

More likely than another Ar Tonelico game at least.
