In approximately 2019 when I reached Challenger EUW and realized it's making me miserable. Quit and haven't played it ever again.
Also I really enjoyed the comfy dark western fantasy feeling of early LoL. Felt like a Halloween game. Then the game's aesthetic and atmosphere gradually transformed into fast pached gacha which I'm just not interested it. It also very noticeably veered from a strategy MOBA to a fighting MOBA

AP was a cool thing ruined by the increase of champs that used AD scaling. I thought the whole point was Abilities needed AP to scale, and AD was for autoattacking. Now every character is a caster.
All the reworks to legacy champs that guaranteed they have some form of jump or dash. God forbid anyone not have several oh shit buttons for when Flash is on cooldown.
During one of my last games I remember asking "What does Kledd DO????" and my friend group painfully laughing at the absolute bloated state of the game.
