what was not so fun about it?
i'd love a good game like midnight club 3 that runs well on pc with multiplayer and a well designed city like san diego was

I think PCSX2 still has ghosting issues with the game so it definitely looks worse than on-hardware.

how so? it is just as fun as i remembered.

In fact last year I beat it twice and then i played L.a remix which was also great.
Honestly i wish had a final midnight club game with tracks from all the 3 first games.

Had the same feeling playing Jak 2, heard they released Jak 2 open source or some stupid shit like that for PC and decide to try it out. Got fucking dammit the level design was atrocious and total ass, I don't remember it being that bad. Nostalgia is one hell of a drug.

Play Remix.

Although 3 has the customization and that was fun, I think Midnight Club 2's Paris, Tokyo and L.A levels beat 3.

Paris and Tokyo especially.

It's a videogame, moron. You don't really go to Europe.
MC2 Paris is more fun than the summer of all 5 American cities in the series

steering in MCLA was weird on controller

like I went into settings, set steering sensitivity to -20, and still whenever i touched the stick for one nanosecond it would heave all the way to the left, drift than aggressively correct steering back on it's own
I don't remember this behavouir at all in 3 where i could have much more nuanced steering

that and the weird soft lighting wich made it hard as fuck to see during tthe day really soured my experience on it

Remix has a 60fps patch, which is what I'm running at in that shot.

I'm using the US release of Remix (MD5 42da9aaf83e1e5303de5634ed8f13bce).

Patches I used: https://pastebin.com/RFqr1Rt4

try not using decade old versions of emulators, and spreading misinformation

Can't relate.
I replay this game yearly and I have a blast every single time.
