I don't agree with the reasoning, but I do find controllers more comfortable and favor them for anything that doesn't benefit from constant mouse use.

Depends on the genre. I always have a controller next to my PC anyway. Shooters are infinitely better on M&K, but something like a platformer or 3rd person game where you move 360 degrees like Dark Souls feels better on controller.

I work with a keyboard, and my wrists start to hurt if I also use it for gaming.

Exact opposite for me. I still remember getting nukes on MW2 in early 2010s every few matches back in the day playing on MKB, then I went to visit my cousin who had MW2 on console and I completely froze up playing on controller.

I use controller. Some people use keyboard. We are all having fun.

Shooting, strategy, RPGs etc are all better on MKB. Fighting, racing, flight, rhythm etc are all better on specialty peripherals. What's the point of "standard" controllers? Platformers?
