After the Raidou fiasco I’d rather this stay a ps2 exclusive. Maybe remake it from scratch. Make another retelling of the story like the Avatar Tuner novel was. The game wasn’t even faithful to the original script. Just don’t butcher it.

I hope they end up doing just a quick upscaling port, because the trend of shaking things up to make them feel more than just sloppy ports ends up fucking something else.
The games by themselves are already perfect as they are. Any "improvement" risks being a monkey paw wish.
