Post your controller of choice.

Recent shitposting aside, it is unironically good.

>buy a used controller to swap the membrane
>manage to break both rumble motors in the process
It's an easy fix but I don't own soldering equipment. Not looking forward to buying a new controller eventually

Never had that happen, wired or wireless. 2.4ghz even stays functional streaming from the opposite end of my house, the dongle's plenty strong.
Have you tried updating firmware for both controller and dongle?

Maybe through wifi with the whole Stadia suite going. As a bluetooth controller it's supposedly laggy trash. I considered buying one before, they're cheap.

It'd definitely be a wired-only controller for me. I considered getting one to try the d-pad, but the aliexpress vendor selling remaining new stock for $16 no longer ships to the US, and odds are high I'd just dick with it in some shmups and fighting games for 30 minutes then shove it in a drawer forever.

Oh man, you have to try the Uma Musume gameโ€”itโ€™s this insanely polished mobile title where you raise these horse girls (yes, thatโ€™s right) into elite racing idols. The training system is super strategic, and you form deep emotional bonds with your characters as you guide them to stardomโ€”and like, the drama? It hits. Like that one arc where Oguri Capโ€™s career is on the line and sheโ€™s recovering from injury, and her whole comeback hinges on that one final race in the snow at Nakayama. I swear, the way she pushes through the pain and winsโ€”I was in tears. The pacing, the inner monologues, even the gritty rivalry with Mihono Bourbon... top-tier writing.
