Its been proven time and time again that modern developers either don't like or don't understand Crash or Spyro. Its better for everyone if they stayed dead because theres no way anyone is going to do it justice.

Crash 5 was cancelled and it was going to be a Spyro/Crash crossover game. I doubt its anything related to those two.
