- doesn't look ugly, fake or grimy (IE wigs, painted eyebrows, ridiculous hair extensions and plastic nails)
- doesn't behave extremely rudely and entitledly
- doesn't get in trouble with the law
- isn't a single mother
AKA they're not trying to look realistic 9/10 times.
Unless it's some nu-Capcom or Square Enix creation,Japan doesn't want their main cast of characters to be inclusive in the sense that they want the character to be relatable, nor diverse for the sake of representating real life races (unless, again, it's capcom or square)
